Rajat Mathur

Dr. Mathur is the lead clinician and overall in charge of The Sleep Centre at the Department of Neurophysiology at the Clementine Churchill Hospital.

Neurophysiology and Sleep Technician- Mr Brett Davies-Griffiths

Dr. Mathur is Professor and Associate Dean of Clinical Medicine at the University of Buckingham Medical School, and also a consultant physician in respiratory medicine at Ealing Hospital, London, with special interest, training and experience in sleep disorders. Dr. Mathur is also honorary senior lecturer in the department of medicine at the Imperial College School of Medicine. In addition Dr Mathur is the Royal College Tutor and Director of Core Medical Training (London Deanery) at Ealing Hospital.

Dr. Mathur has trained in London (St. Mary’s Hospital Medical School), Nottingham (University and City Hospitals) and Edinburgh (Scottish National Sleep Centre, Royal Infirmary, University of Edinburgh). He did his fellowship in sleep disorders at the Scottish National Sleep Centre that led to numerous publications in sleep medicine and an award of Ph.D. in genetics of sleep apnoea from the University of Edinburgh in 1995.

Since then, Dr. Mathur has helped to establish sleep service at St. Mary’s Hospital, London, and had been consultant in-charge of sleep services at Hammersmith Hospital, and consultant sleep physician at Charing Cross Hospital, London. He is the lead consultant at Ealing Hospital in sleep medicine and noninvasive ventilation and a member of British Sleep Society.
