Dr Michael Gross (Consultant Neurologist), MA MD FRCP

Dr Gross is a general neurologist who deals with all neurological problems. He has a particular interest in headache disorders, "fits, faints and funny turns", as well as dizziness and balance problems. He frequently gives opinion in MS, stroke, neuropathy, Parkinson's disease and head injury.

Mr Henri Thuau (Consultant Maxillofacial Surgeon), MD DDS FDS RCS (Eng) FRCS (Max-Fac)

Mr Henri Thuau obtained his Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (gold medal) in 1996, after Specialist Training at Queen Mary's Hospital, Roehampton between 1994-1996, which followed Specialist Training in the Cranio-maxillofacial Surgery in the Craniofacial Unit of the University Hospital Zurich, Switzerland (1990-1994).

Mr Thuau obtained a Master certificate in Biochemistry, and Oral Surgery/Pathology (gold medal) in Paris V and VII University after his studies in Dental Surgery (1975-1980), prior to completing medical training (1985-1990). Mr Thuau is currently the Assistant Secretary of the European Association of Craniomaxillofacial Surgeons and Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon at the Chelsea Westminster Hospital (Craniofacial Unit).

Professor Jaspal Kooner (Professor of Clinical Cardiology), PhD FRCP

Professor Kooner is one of the leading cardiologists in the country. He has over 25 years' experience in treatment of general cardiovascular disorders. He has special expertise in treatment of heart attack, stable coronary artery disease, coronary angioplasty and stenting. He has been responsible for the training of numerous UK cardiologists and continues to teach and train junior doctors. He is an active researcher and has published numerous papers in leading medical journals.

Mr Kalpesh Patel (Consultant ENT, Head & Neck Surgeon), BSc(Hons) FRCS (ORL)

Although Mr Patel is a General Consultant ENT Surgeon, he has a particular interest in the following ENT conditions and operations: endoscopic sinus surgery, rhinoplasty (functional and cosmetic), nasal allergy, management of tumours involving the head and neck region, salivary and thyroid gland disease, hoarseness, swallowing disorders and childhood ENT infections.

Mr Joe Marais (Consultant Otolaryngologist), MBBCh FRCS (ORL)

Mr Joe Marais trained as a junior doctor in Ear, Nose & Throat Surgery in London and Edinburgh. He continued training as a Senior Registrar in Edinburgh before working in Texas, USA doing a Chief Resident's post. Subsequently, Mr Marais also undertook fellowship training in Toronto at the world famous Toronto General.

He was appointed as a Consultant Rhinologist, Nasal Plastic & ENT Surgeon at Northwick Park Hospital in 2000. His interests include cosmetic and reconstructive septorhinoplasty, sinus surgery, nasal blockage, snoring and allergy. He lectures on these topics on various national and international courses. Mr Marais is registered with BAPRAS and carries out in excess of a hundred septorhinoplasties each year, many of which are complex and revision cases referred by other Consultants.
